What Births An Author?
Perhaps the love of words is the first indication. As a young child, I always had my nose in a book. As a busy mother, reading to my children brought joy. And as I broke free of old ideas, I wrote. Questions, thoughts, pain were all written.
My truth is I had never thought of being the author that wrote words others would read. I was content being the recipient of that gift, Reading! That is until my world intersected with teachers from beyond the Earth. Their words ignited my desire to share. First I mentored, taught and encouraged. It was in January of 1995 that my teachers said, "Now, write the book." |
